The location was ideal, with everything within walking distance - from charming restaurants and bars to a convenient supermarket. We didn't even need our car! the host was exceptionally kind and accommodating, making our experience all the more enjoyable. As a historian with a penchant for Central European history, I appreciated being so close to the stunning Lake Balaton - a true gem of the region. The room was cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen for our convenience. We made use of the nearby shop and scooters to explore the city easily. Proximity to the beach, just a block away, was a pleasant surprise, even if more suited for summer activities. the bus stop right in front allowed for convenient trips to Tihany, adding a touch of historical charm to our adventure. The staff was friendly, and the view of the beach from the balcony was simply mesmerizing. As someone deeply immersed in history, the calming sight was a welcome respite. the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings made our stay stress-free and truly memorable. the combination of modern comforts and a touch of history at Széplak Apartman left a lasting impression on us. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful destination, adding another chapter to our Central European tales.
